SOOTHING SHRUBS

Does it sometimes feel as if the world is moving too quickly? A nature walk is a wonderful way to rest your mind & heart. Feel the cool breeze brushing against your cheek, take a deep breath and smell the fresh scents in the air and stretch your arm out and move your body any way you need to. Scout found a peaceful time for mindfulness on his walk today. He also helped The Gumboot Kids solve The Case of Soothing Shrub.

La-la-la-lavender...
Fields of beauty in the sunshine.
La-la-la-lavender...
Your purple flowers smell divine.
You could have been a pretty flower,
that would have been enough.
You could have been a bumblebee's favourite,
that would have been enough.
You are the purple flower that smells divine.
