Don't you just love to explore the world around you? Daisy does too! Exploring at the beach really makes her heart sing! The textures and colours are so beautiful and are always changing. This inspired Daisy to bring some sand home to make SAND ART. Would you like to make some too?

there are

SHAPES & COLOURS by Jessie Farrell

Gumboot Kids can listen to Jessie Farrell's songs here .

Step 1

The next time you're at the beach, collect some sand and shells or other small treasures. Only take what's abundant and only take a little.

Step 2

Gather your paper, felt pens and glue from your craft supplies. Draw an outline of something that you saw at the beach. Maybe a sea star, a fish or some waves.

Step 3

Outline or fill in your shape with glue. While the glue is still wet, sprinkle glitter, sand, shells and other treasures on top. Carefully shake off any excess sand and let dry. Voilà!
