Sometimes the most wonderful crafts come from very unexpected places! Daisy was tidying up her art studio when a very slow moving friend crept past her window. This inspired her to use the newspaper she found to make PAPER SNAILS.

Some move fast
like dragonflies,
some are slow
& slimy guys,
they live outdoors
but they sneak inside...

BUGS & SLUGS by Jessie Farrell

Step 1

Tear a page from an old newspaper and fold it lengthwise into thin strips. No need to rush. Slow and steady wins the race!

Step 2

Roll the paper strips into a spiral then tape it into place.

Step 3

Paint your snails any colour you would like. When the paint dries you can add a face to your little snail friend. Use googly eyes and two little twigs to make some antenna. These paper snails can be placed on a bookshelf to remind you to slow down and enjoy the moment.
